NPHD was established in 2011 to contribute in filling the gap of near non-existence of a top drawn Nigerian organisation in health and development consultancy as well as respond to the increased donor demand to engage and work with indigenous companies with capacity to provide technical assistance of international standards.
NPHD is managed by a Board of Trustees (BOT) which meets periodically to formulate policies, review progress and design strategies to ensure that the company meets the aspirations of its shareholders as well as those of its clients in and outside Nigeria.
The Head Office of the Company is located in Abuja and is managed by a dynamic team whose goal is to deliver the best under all circumstances for the growth and development of the health sector and the company.
NPHD works in close partnership with Health Partners International (HPI), a UK registered company established in 1995 with a track record of successful implementation of health initiatives in more than 30 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and the Middle East. As a partner of HPI, NPHD leverages on HPI’s strengths, standards and techniques to implement results oriented health initiatives in Nigeria
