NPHD partnered with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) to rollout two cycles of Integrated Supportive Supervision (ISS), including the training, mentoring and detailing of all proprietary patent medicine vendors (PPMVs) in Niger state. NPHD provided management and technical support to the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) team in Niger State to roll out cascaded training of health providers across ten secondary health facilities. The training was focused on appropriate practices for the management of childhood pneumonia. We sought to shift healthcare provider behaviour towards the use of pulse oximetry, oxygen therapy, and Amoxicillin DT to diagnose and treat.
